Saturday, July 17, 1999, The Andy Ruenes Foundation had their first official fundraiser.
This fundraiser was a concert entitled "The Genesis Concert." Though it was not
a packed house, the concert drew a nice crowd. The bands that played were excellent, and

Meeting for ALL volunteers at 8PM at 3568 West 72nd Street, Hialeah. We
will be discussing our next fundraiser, World's Finest Chocolates!!! For directions,

Come and share with the children from Ronald McDonald House. We'll be having our monthly
visit to these children and provide arts and crafts for them to work on as well as
yummy goodies to share! It will take place from 1 to 3PM punctually!

Bring light into the life of a child receiving chemotherapy at Jackson Memorial Hospital
by joining us for our monthly Adopt-A-Floor activity. It takes place from 2 to 4 PM punctually!!

Monthly prayer group: Come and pray for the intentions of our patients. Meetings take
place monthly at 9 AM. Times are subject to change. If you would like to be part of our

Oct. 20th,
Come to this very special Adopt-A-Floor at Jackson Memorial Hospital. It will be the
Halloween festivities for these children. Volunteers will go in costume to visit the
children, make special Halloween-themed arts and crafts, and take them specially themed
bags of goodies!! Don't miss out on this very special visit to Jackson. To participate

We will also be hosting the "Bar-Boo-Que" at the Ronald McDonald's House. The
children will come dressed in costumes, as well as the volunteers. We will have various
themed games and contests. Come and join us for this very fun afternoon full of

Oct. 27th,
We'll be having the second annual Halloween Costume Ball!!! The ball is opened to
our teenaged and young adult patients as well as to any and all volunteers and their
guests! Don't miss out on the fun! Especially if you missed it last time!! Invitations
will be mailed out very soon!! So keep your eyes peeled!

Ronald MacDonald House, Christmas 2001 Pictures
RMH is for people from out of town who need a place to stay during their treatments.
The residents are only children, and they don't have to be cancer
patients. They could also be suffering from many rare and dangerous
illnesses and organ transplants.

The American Cancer Society Winn Dixie Hope Lodge diner and presents for all patients,
kids and adults. This house is for out of town people that are going under cancer
treatment, kids and adults, and they need a place to stay, they have small apartments
